Government Affairs

Action Center     Issues    CONCRETEPAC

Grassroots Resources    Kids Art Contest    About Us

NRMCA’s Government Affairs team represents the ready mixed concrete industry in Washington. Leveraging relationships on Capitol Hill and in the Administration, Government Affairs advocates for legislative and regulatory outcomes that benefit our members and help their businesses thrive. Government Affairs identifies key political, legislative, regulatory and policy issues and engages and educates both the industry and decision makers on their importance.

Through CONCRETEPAC, the industry’s political action committee, NRMCA Government Affairs supports pro-business, pro-ready mixed concrete candidates for federal office.

A message from NRMCA's President:

Dear Colleague:

Welcome to the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s Government Affairs page!

We are excited to offer this service to supporters of the construction materials industry. It is a powerful tool you can use to communicate with your federal legislators on issues that will have an impact on the way you do business. Here, you can track your representatives' NRMCA voting records, register to vote, and learn more about what you can do to make a difference.

NRMCA is the only national trade association representing the interests of ready mixed concrete producers in Washington, and we’re having tremendous impact on federal legislation and regulations that affect your business every day!

NRMCA’s efforts to promote adequate federal spending on infrastructure will secure much-needed jobs. Our efforts to obtain a federal fuel tax correction for off-road fuel usage will make the tax code fairer. Our cooperative initiatives with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration will ensure the health and safety of our labor force and our customers.

Whether you are a member or non-member, your participation is vital, because in Washington numbers count. That’s why we need you to join us. The greater our numbers, the more influence we have. It’s that simple.

I encourage you to learn more about the legislation we’re tracking and join your voice with others from around the country who care about the ready mixed concrete industry. Together, we can make a difference!

Sincerely,

Robert Garbini, P.E.
President
