Parking Information

NRMCA has contracted a discounted room rate of $239/night plus applicable taxes. The cut-off date for the discounted room rate is Friday, October 3, 2025, or whenever the room block sells out, whichever occurs first. The hotel does NOT provide shuttle service. Transportation to/from the course location will NOT be provided by NRMCA and is the responsibility of the registrant. Ride shares are available. Additional Tips
Cancellation Policy
Full cancellation refunds, less a $125 administrative fee, will be extended until Monday, October 13, 2025. All cancellations after Monday, October 13, 2025, will not be refunded. Fee cancellations cannot be transferred to a future class. Substitutions can be made at any time with no penalty. Registration cancellations and substitutions must be made in writing to: [email protected].
NRMCA reserves the right to cancel this event. A class confirmation, confirming the course will run as scheduled, will be sent via email no later than COB, Monday, October 13, 2025. It is advisable not to book your airfare (unless it’s fully refundable) until you receive the class confirmation. In the unlikely event the class is cancelled, NRMCA will refund the entire registration fee, but is not responsible for airline or hotel reservation fees. You are responsible for making and paying for your own hotel and travel arrangements.

Course Description
The Plant Manager is a vital position in the ready-mixed industry, with responsibilities from regulatory compliance, to product quality, to safety, to profitability. This course helps Plant Managers, or those who want to become Plant Managers, build knowledge, skill, and confidence with plant safety, environmental regulations, plant operations, and ready mixed concrete industry business principles. Instruction occurs across three days and exams are administered on the fourth day.
There are five modules in this course:
- Product Knowledge (materials, mixes, batching, testing)
- Operations (producing & delivering quality concrete)
- Safety (compliance for employees & the public)
- Environmental (compliance, good neighbor)
- Business Principles (successful plant)
Currently, those who achieve a passing score on a final exam of multiple choice questions are eligible to earn Plant Operator, Plant Supervisor, or Plant Manager certification.
