The award is offered in two categories, ready mixed concrete producers and manufacturers. NRMCA is looking for creative ideas and concepts that have played a part in protecting the environment. Submit your idea or innovation that you have implemented that helps the environment. The deadline for award entries is in December. To enter, applicants must complete an application with a one-page summary describing the procedure or development of a product that has resulted in a measurable improvement in environmental protection. The applicants must also be member companies of NRMCA in good standing. The write-up will describe the following items:

• What was the problem?
• What did you do to address the problem?
• What were the results?
• What were the benefits?
• What makes your effort/product noteworthy?
