The closest airport is Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) which is located approximately 6.5 miles from the hotel and DFW International Airport (DFW) located approximately 19 miles from the hotel.

The hotel does NOT provide shuttle service to/from the airport. There are multiple transportation options within the Dallas region including Lyft and Uber.

Cancellation Policy
Full cancellation refunds, less a $125 administrative fee, will be extended until Monday, October 27, 2025. All cancellations after Monday, October 27, 2025, will not be refunded. Fee cancellations cannot be transferred to a future class. Substitutions can be made at any time with no penalty. NRMCA reserves the right to cancel this event. A class confirmation, confirming the course will run as scheduled, will be sent via email no later than COB, Monday, October 27, 2025. It is advisable not to book your airfare (unless it’s fully refundable) until you receive the class confirmation. In the unlikely event the class is cancelled, NRMCA will refund the entire registration fee, but is not responsible for airline or hotel reservation fees. request to retake NRMCA Durability Level IV Exam

Course Description

Concrete Durability is a two and a half day course with two days of instruction and a half day for an optional exam. The course covers the fundamental mechanisms that impact durability of concrete. Participants can expect teaching and learning on concrete microstructure, cracking, corrosion mechanisms, freeze-thaw resistance, sulfate resistance, alkali aggregate reactions (AAR), and other durability-related distress. The course will be taught by adjunct faculty at the forefront of current research on the diagnosis of concrete durability.

Course Objectives

  • Recognize symptoms and describe methods to evaluate the deterioration of concrete.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of causes of durability problems and methods to prevent them.
  • Explain test methods for durability and their limitations.
  • List code and specifications criteria for durable concrete structures.
