The Bruno Benna Advocacy Award recognizes outstanding commitment to NRMCA’s government affairs and political program.
This award is being given in 2020 for the first time and is named for Bruno Benna who was known during his 60 years of service to NRMCA for his steadfast support of CONCRETEPAC, doing the important work of engaging in government and public policy on behalf of the ready mixed concrete industry.
This year, the inaugural Bruno Benna Advocacy award is presented to an NRMCA member who demonstrates exceptional commitment to advancing the industry through participation in NRMCA’s government affairs, political and grassroots programs. This individual is Scott Olin, with Dickinson Ready Mix, Dickinson, ND.
Over the past years, Scott has repeatedly come to Washington to lobby on important policy issues, hosted fundraisers in his home state for Members of Congress, taken his congressman on plant tours in their district and carried NRMCA’s pro-business, pro-ready-mix message to his elected officials.
