CONCRETEPAC is the ready mixed concrete industry's primary tool for
political engagement at the national level. The sole purpose of
CONCRETEPAC is to elect candidates who are pro-business and pro-ready
mixed concrete to the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate.
CONCRETEPAC was able to disburse a record-breaking $423,500 to 122
pro-ready mixed concrete candidates in 42 states for federal election this
CONCRETEPAC is overseen by a Board of Trustees, made up of eight
NRMCA members and is regulated by the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
CONCRETEPAC is currently the fifth largest PAC in the Building Materials
& Equipment space. It supports candidates on a bipartisan basis and may give up
to $5,000 to a federal candidate per election, and up to $10,000 per candidate
for their federal election cycle.
FEC requires CONCRETEPAC to request the written prior approval of
NRMCA members before soliciting contributions. Corporations may not approve
solicitations by more than one trade association for the same calendar year.
