Concrete Design Center
Our mission is to educate the building and design communities and policymakers on the benefits of ready mixed concrete, and encourage its use as the building material of choice for low-to mid-rise structures. No other material can replicate concrete’s advantages in terms of strength, durability, safety and ease of use.

Making the Case for Concrete Buildings (Build With Strength)
Build with Strength is educating the building and design communities and policymakers on the benefits of ready mixed concrete, and encouraging its use as the building material of choice for low-to mid-rise structures. Join us to learn more about these efforts, and obtain the tools necessary to stand up for stronger and more resilient buildings in your own community.

Legislative Update
While much of the national focus has been on some of the big-ticket items in Washington, Congress and the Trump Administration have been working to roll back regulations and advance legislation aimed at reducing the burdens on individuals and small businesses across America, including many policies that provide relief for the ready mixed concrete industry. This legislative update will cover some of the things that NRMCA’s Government Affairs team is working on in Washington, including tax reform, resilient construction, labor issues and trucking related regulations.

Results of the 2017 Industry Data Survey
We will review the results of the 2017 edition of the NRMCA Industry Data Survey and will also discuss possible outcomes for the current year given varying economic and political considerations. Detailed information concerning components of a cubic yard of concrete will be discussed as well as trend analysis of various industry metrics. You won’t want to miss this session as the information in the NRMCA Industry Data Survey is a unique compilation of data that can be found nowhere else.
