The afternoon begins with a stop at the Ryman Auditorium, one of Nashville’s signature historical country music landmarks and home to the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. From there, the group heads over to the Country Music Hall of Fame, the world’s largest research center dedicated to a single form of American music. The museum recently unveiled a $100 million expansion doubling its size to 350,000 square feet of dynamic state-of-the-art galleries, archival storage, education classrooms, retail stores, and special event space. Here guests can get an in-depth look at the people, places and instruments that have contributed to the development of country music.
