Operations: The "O" in OES

The NRMCA’s “Maintenance Committee,” now the Operations, Environmental & Safety Committee, was founded in 1964 by producer-members who understood that the ready mixed concrete business has always been about managing equipment. Ours is an industry founded and sustained by men– and, increasingly, women– who love machinery. After all, at the heart of any ready mixed concrete business unit is a concrete batch plant (or several of them) and a fleet of truck mixers. 

The Operations Task group of the OES Committee is committed to informing, educating and training industry personnel about all aspects of concrete production, distribution and delivery.  Plant and fleet-oriented events, publications and training programs developed by the task group have always been, and continue to be, some of the Association’s most popular and successful “products”.
