Webinar Description:

NRMCA has partnered with the Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) to develop a Webinar on biodiversity programs at ready mixed concrete production facilities. Typically small, these facilities do not have expansive tracks of land to dedicate to conservation. However, every initiative benefiting habitat and wildlife has value. A biodiverse site can serve as a stopover for migratory birds, a food source for pollinators and an opportunity to increase plant and animal diversity.

To address the specific needs and potential of ready mixed concrete production facilities, WHC has developed a biodiversity toolkit designed for the ready mix industry to engage in habitat projects and further its sustainability mission.
